Farol North LLC ("Farol North," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website and sells digital products and advisory services. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Contact us at contact@farolconsulting.com.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name and email when you buy a product, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us — plus anything you include in your messages.
  • Payment information: your payment is processed by our third-party payment provider, which acts as Merchant of Record. They handle your payment details directly. We never see or store your full card or banking information.
  • Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and similar usage data, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to deliver the products you buy and send access links; process payments and prevent fraud; send transactional emails (receipts, access, support replies); send our newsletter where you've asked to receive it; respond to support requests; operate and improve the site; measure and improve our advertising; and meet our legal obligations.

3. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, to understand how the site is used, and to measure advertising — including analytics tools and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which helps us measure and improve our ad campaigns. You can control cookies through your browser, and where required we'll ask your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only with the providers that help us run the business: our payment provider / Merchant of Record, our email provider, our hosting and database providers, and analytics and advertising platforms such as Meta. We require these providers to protect your information, and we do not sell your personal information.

5. International data transfers

We're based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the US and other countries where our providers operate. These may have different data protection laws than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information is adequately protected.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these, email contact@farolconsulting.com and we'll respond as required by law. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter anytime via the link in any email.

7. Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide your products and support, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes — then we delete or anonymize it.

8. Children's privacy

Our products and site are intended for adults and aren't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and communicate significant changes where appropriate.
